I want to put together my own wedding at a very budge price. Any suggestions or ideas for the South Bay? I don't want to spend over $10,000 that includes everything. Why spend so much money to only be in debt after the wedding? I am looking for a venue for 100 or less people to enjoy, dancing & good food. |

Well your best bet might be to have the reception & Ceremony in the back yard of someone you know. As for the food maybe have a brunch reception because the food is relatively cheaper or maybe cater in from Armadillo Willy's (with a backyard wedding it would be a fun summer theme) and I know Safeway has wedding cakes that are a lot cheaper then your average wedding cake vendor. your biggest worry might be finding tables and chairs but if you ask around lots of people have folding tables and such and then visit your local TJ Maxx or Ross and find cheap table linens?? |

Oh another nice idea that isn't a backyard, is you can get married in a City Park...Central Park in Santa Clara is a pretty one, Vasona is BEAUTIFUL but you have to pay to park, Heller Park/Happy Hallow has a Japanese tea Garden area. Just some ideas for you to look into. Good Luck |
